“Couple – John Jesse & wife”

Description

The Jesse branch of the family is from my maternal grandmother’s side. They named grannie Flaura, a pretty name, and one I’m not heard elsewhere. The photo this painting was based on shows John Jesse wearing a suit jacket and tie, and his wife has a flower pinned to her dress. My guess is that the itinerant photographer provided all this.
